Should there be police at each school?

Train and arm staff to handle any violent situations. Police officers have much more training than is necessary for this duty. Using police officers would either reduce their coverage within the community or cost additional taxpayer money. Using willing trained staff is much more cost effective and poses uncertainty to any who would attempt to commit violent crime within the school. Uniformed officers would be easy to identify and circumvent by those with criminal intent. Be sure to include any trained staff on liability coverage and perhaps add some $ for serving in this capacity.
